Nikon Z5 II to be Announced in April instead of May 2025?

Recent rumors suggested that Nikon would announce the Z5 II in May 2025, but reliable source how2fly has now claimed that the announcement will come earlier, in April.

The current Nikon Z5, a full-frame mirrorless camera with a Z-mount, was released in August 2020. With the Z6 III evolving into a more premium hybrid camera with advanced video features, many are curious whether the Z5 II will serve as a true successor to the Z6/Z6II or remain a budget-friendly full-frame option.

While the exact specs and pricing of the Z5 II remain unknown, key questions include whether it will use the EXPEED 7 processor and a sensor similar to the Nikon Zf. Nikon’s annual financial results, set for release on May 8, could provide further context.

Given how2fly’s solid track record in Nikon-related leaks, the shift to an April announcement seems credible. However, whether May was originally a reference to the release or shipment date remains uncertain.
